Fashion Photography or Fashion Abuse!!!

OK, I might this might be belated, and way overdue, but recently I stumbled across an article about photographer Terry Richardson. The article was about his provocative images and the allegations by many that he abuses his powerful reputation and abuses young, vulnerable models. At first I didn't know whether to believe it, (surely that couldn't be happening on professional photo shoots, surely other people on set would not sit there and allow it to happen) but the accounts of two models claimed that this it true. I'm disgusted by the fact that the powers that be, the people who higher him didn't look into these claims and that people like Barack Obama didn't refuse to do a shoot with him.
Richardson has a distorted view on the world of fashion and the purpose of a model, he views them as animated sex objects, throwing out statements like, "it's not who you know it's you blow", which makes no sense in the fashion industry, as the models he abuses have already been signed by and agency and they are sent to him as models not prostitutes.
   Some of Richardson's pics:

I simply cannot comprehend why Richardson has not boycotted.
This is not an exaggeration when I say that it made me sick to see him on the Mango website with high profile top model Kate Moss, grinning at the camera in his signature flannel shirt, doing his signature thumbs up.
I doubt whether Richardson's behaviour will ever be challenged by the fashion and photography industry, (both of which I am passionate about) however at times a little rant helps me relieve my frustration!
